Friday Night Fight!

Without further adieu, we present the 2nd Friday Night Fight! This time round the Ghosts Of Oynx were pitted against the ever famous ForgeHub staff, Team Hammar. We played 3 separate matches of 5v5. The Ghosts Of Oynx were reluctant to make substitutions, and clearly that was a good decision. Team Hammar reserves the right to say that 'We weren't trying'.

Game 1: Multi Flag on Gridlock

The first game kicked off with alot of confusion. People bieng kicked from the party and random people joining to take their place was the highlight of the first minute or two, but once that had been taken care of, we were back in business. Team Hammar made a good offensive push in the first few minutes, taking down most of the GoO's defences. However, a push for thier flag was stopped by a horde of respawning players. Go0 occasionally sent players in small groups, using the mongoose to get to our base quickly. Before long, Team Hammar were 2:0 down and running out of options. A final 'flag captured' voice put our determination to rest, giving the GoO a 3:0 win for the first game.

Game 2: King of the Hill on Sniper Tundra

The second game also started off in similar fassion. The GoO pushed all of thier players into the hill, and Team Hammar tried to gather some points from a distance. The GoO gained an early lead, but some very lucky no-scopes, followed by a few tea-bags brought Team Hammar back into the game. The game was very close, right up until the end, where a majority of Team Hammar was wiped out and the GoO took a big lead for the victory. Final score 250:190, GoO wins.

Game 3: Team Slayer on Teamwerks Arena

The third and final game was of a similar theme to the first. By that i mean that we got our Brightly coloured names handed to us. A lack of team co-ordination and a 'Broken BR' had lost Team Hammar the first round, and gave us little chance of a come back. In the second round we had certainly improved, but not enough. The match was close, until team GoO decided to use duel Plasma Pistols, which soon disposed of our entire team. The third round began as another close fight, but a lack of team work ultimately lost the game for Team Hammar. Final score 223:85, GoO wins.
