Bungie posted the results for Forge Hub's first appearance in the traditional Humpday Challenge-oh yes, there was blood. Before I get into the gore filled results there is something we just need to say. Bungie got stompified. Survival of the fittest was at work Wednesday night.
The maps played were:
Barrel Blaster
Chill Out!v3
7th Avenue
Barrel Blaster is king of the hill based map that requires you to not only dominate your foe but to avoid the flying dumpster that threatens to knock you into next week. Frankie had some connection problems in the beginning, dropping out midway through the game, giving Forge Hub the chance to capitalize on their lack of firepower. The game would ultimately end 451-49.
By the time it came for the second game to begin Frankie was still M.I.A. Forcing one of the Forge Hubinites to join the enemy. I was chosen to fill the missing gap. Though it was painful, I pushed on and mercilessly massacred my former teammates on iTs NeXen's ChillOut!v3. New0001 put up an impressive 18 kills to lead the Bungie guys to their first victory of the night, 50-31.
The battle to end all Wednesday night battles. The winner of this match would decide who would claim total victory and who would be buried underneath the foes cyborg crotch. Bungie had a swing of luck and Frankie soon returned to replace me as the temporary teammate. 7th Avenue would be the last map of the night. Bungie was quick to affectionately rename the map Blitzkrieg, for its fast paced action. The game would draw to a close very quickly with forge hub winning the last match - 2-1.
