Hello Forge Hub,
How has this weekend been for you? I imagine it has been painstakingly slow as it has been for me. As each bit of Halo 4 goodness is revealed to us it makes each second seem just that little bit longer. I swear, every time I glance at my clock it seems time temporarily stops...
But guess what: this is the last Sunday you will have to wait through before you get your grubby hands on a new copy of Halo 4. That being said, and since it is Sunday, I have come bearing the results of the final Halo: Reach Forge Hub Favorites.
So without further adieu, let's get to it...
Map: Altar
Author: TheMuppetKing
Players: 2-4
This is going to win FHF.
I can't exactly believe this, but it seems mister Eightball here predicted the future. Alter indeed won FHF. Out of context quoting aside, let's talk a little bit about the map that made our resident foreseer so sure about Altar.
Altar is a small 1v1 or 2v2 map that sports humble yet catchy aesthetics and a layout that tinges on the lines of genius. Altar is a very cleanly Forged map that just makes you want to dirty it up with the bodies of your Spartan enemies. So if you want to pass the time between now and Halo 4 a little more quickly by playing some 1v1 matches against your mates, set your sights on Altar.

Map: Deadborough
Gametype: zm_outbreak
Author: REMkings
Players: 10-16
Made by BIOC enthusiast REMkings, this town based holdout Infection map is quite reminiscent of the map Township from Halo 3. One thing certain about this map is that its author (REMkings, if you haven't caught on to that yet) has quite the track record for making good infection maps. With Lone Souls in a Lost Mine securing a previous FHF spot and Favela Run most recently scoring third in our Hub of the Dead III competition, Deadborough will not disappoint the fans of this Forger's style.
So, before "Infection" forever becomes "Flood" mode, go enjoy a friendly neighborhood zombie killing spree on Deadborough. Happy brain eating.

Map: Bunker Hill
Author: Psychoduck & RivalMass
Players: 8-12
Taking the final spot in the final Reach FHF is a Highground inspired map by our THFE cohorts Psychoduck and RivalMass (a.k.a. Oakley Hidef). I like this map primarily because it forced me to rekindle some of my knowledge on American Wars. I say primarily because I regrettably haven't played the map myself yet. So, while I'm sure there are plenty of other things to love about this map I can't speak for it myself. So in the spirit of laziness, I'll allow others to describe it for me:
This has been pretty awesome as a capstone map for Reach. It came really late in but I've generally enjoyed it, especially for territories. Great job Duck and Oakley, one last gem before Reach is done.
I really enjoy the creative use of the terrain in this map.
You have my Vote for the next Forge Hub Favorites!
...and your vote helped it get here Frenchy's, so we thank you, as I'm sure both Psycho and Rival do as well.
