So, uh, we had this contest thing. Something about flags...? I dunno. I'm not even sure who I am at the moment (Reflex lon, Cadecus, Mox YoYo...), can you really expect me to get all this? Well, the thing is, I actually do get this. This is a post containing nothing but the results from our Flag Reset Contest started back a couple months ago, a delicious batch of creations indeed.
See, Flag Reset is this awesome gametype called Capture the Flag, which is so incredibly underground, I'm sure you've never heard of it. So underground in fact, that 343i had to go out of their way to break the gametype in that new game they plan on releasing this coming November (so much anger there, but that's a story for a later date). Basically, you are expected to go to the other team's base, steal their flag, eat their grandma's cookies, then haul-ass back home to capture it. Crazy right? Yeah, I thought so. This is far too hipster for you all.
Now that we have that filler all cleared up - filler best left unread - it is time to present our three glorious chef's; I hope you enjoy the results of this particular bake-off, er, forge contest, as much as we at the staff did!
3rd PlaceIn third place, we have AceOfSpaces with his map, Ambuscade, a lovely Sandtrap inspired ditty that will always have a place in our heart.
2nd PlaceIn second Place, we have ThrowinDemBows with Plaza, a box-in-a-box-in-a-box, as well as a very, very close second.
1st PlaceIn first place, and the winner of our Flag Reset contest, cluckinho10 with Canary, a series of tubes (not really) that play as fluid as the water that doesn't flow through them.
And there you have it! An end to our much-loved Capture the Flag Contest Supreme, as well as my terrible jokes. Alas, if only we could keep one without the other... But it is not so. In order to recover, maybe you should consider checking out the other contest we have going on? From what I hear, its a bit of a doozy.
