Well, here I am with another forge contest. Keeping all of you forgers entertained while the rest of us duel it out in the Smackdown is my goal, and this is step one. Best of all, I managed to keep my ironic hipster thing going on here; I came back from the dead to post a zombie forge contest! Now if you just keep in mind that there is nothing ironic or hipster about that, we've got ourselves a gig.
Why, exactly, is it a casual forge-off and not something more in line with the competitive theme currently running the site? Because MATT LAUER CAN SUCK IT. And by Matt Lauer, I mean the competitive domination. Nobody likes competitive maps anyway! Except me, and a few hundred other people, but that is beside the point. The real deal here is that you are going to create a linear progression zombie gametype that, unlike my writing, can tell a dark and ominous story about the end of humanity. Or, more like my writing, satirize and objectify men who like ponies. Because seriously, ponies are for little girls.
Wait, what?
Still reading? Well, good. Because this is kind of an important. This isn't a normal infection, this is manifest-style, linear infection. It's like fat-kids without the fat kids! How does that work? That's up to you. Do the humans run for their lives, without a second to catch their breath? Or do they sit down, hold an area until they start to get overrun and then back up to a newer, better area? Do the zombies follow the same route, or do they drop down from above? Like I said, the details are all yours.
If you have any questions about the rules and they aren't answered below, feel free to contact Shad0w Viper, our lovely Event Director, or simply respond to this thread.
