Welcome back!!
Err... I was talking to my precious fileshare, definitely not you guys... Awkward.

Anyway, Forge Hub Favorites has finally returned after the fileshares have been reinstated over at Halo Waypoint. This means we can provide you with access to the phenominal map database, here at Forge Hub, by the click of a button!

This month in Forge Hub Favorites, we've picked up a variety of sized maps filling out games for 4v4, 8v8, and 1v1/2v2. There's something for every type of competitive gamer, all that matters is... how many friends can you find?

Orion by SecretSchnitzel

Orion took the gold this time in FHF for it's lagless beauty and fast-paced MLG gameplay. SecretSchnitzel took direct influence from two Halo 3 maps; Construct and Epitaph, which creates a unique field of play. The centralised atrium is angled downwards giving more power to the top end of the map while a controlling power weapon is placed at the lower-towered end. While utillising the maps positioned armour abilities, the jetpacks, these allow you to traverse the vertically orientated map more freely and quickly allowing your team to take control of the hills from a blind spot!

The map is completed by housing a Rocket Launcher as the main conflict weapon, a Custom Power Up, two-way teleporters and a series of Gravity Lifts.

Port Authority by MockKnizzle008 & Psychoduck

The terrible twosome return with another beauty of a Big Team Battle map. Port Authority is based on post-invasion New Mombassa and it's simple aesthetics pull off the atmosphere really well. In terms of gameplay, Port Authority allows from 6v6 to 8v8 games with plenty of options to choose from. One-Flag is a favoured gametype due to the maps physical layout and directional flow within the map which forces the attacking team into an uphill outdoor/indoor struggle to the objective.

Port Authority took inspiration from a variety of user maps as well as maps like Headlong, to ensure the inner city representation was at it's best.

Oracle by I PAINTS I & Frenchys

Oracle takes third place for it's unimaginable beauty and aesthetics. As it was designed as a 1v1/2v2 map, the arena's playspace has a jaw-dropping atmosphere that almost makes you forget why you're standing there, weapon raised, shields charged...
That is until your rival pops your skull into tiny pieces with a high-calibre sniper round with which you can definitely say "It's game on, bro!".

Oracle provides an asymmetric playspace for you to ravage your opponent sporting a flurry of powerups and weapons ensuring your chaotic life is definitely short-lived...
