Fileshare Lockout

Important:

I'd like to take the time to remind you that since files and the like are currently being transferred from Bungie's servers over to 343i, there will be some downtime until the process is complete. Until 343i works everything out and gets their own system set up on Waypoint, you will only be able to share maps, screenshots, epic videos, gametypes, etc. through in-game methods. Obviously, this means that map sharing will be seriously difficult until a future time.

Back in the present, we have disabled the posting of new threads in the maps boards in order to protect the absurd influx of eager forgers that literally have zero chance of following the rules. However, you can still comment on previous map threads. Posting map previews is still also possible, but requires either a camera or a capture device of some sort.

To help tide you over until things return to normal, we will be beefing up our front page activity, updating the site, and getting all set for the end of the Forge Lockout. Feature Maps won't continue to be shared without the active network, but news will continue to be made and events such as TGIF might see some interesting changes. Anybody want to play twice as often, or maybe head out to Mass Effect 3 and share the chaos that the single Banshee caused on Gold? You'll be covered!
