Hey guys, whats up? Sorry for the short boring recap, but recalling the antics of last friday is cause some difficulty to me. Meh, might as well try my best:
Well, after being delayed 1 hour by parents who wanted to 'go out for dinner' (which was satisfactory to say the most), I ventured onward unto the Xbox where the children were getting bored and weren't comfy. So, I began a simple game of Hogs from Heck to set the nice, chillaxing (yes i just used that) mood.
After playing some more minigames we began some light testing. The testing mainly consisted of AD Records' invasion series. To my complete surprise, the party was still intact (which goes against AD's fabled 'party-killer' attribute). Silently the party went on, chugging along like an old train: always late, pretty slow, but you love it.
and to end this tale i shall provide pics and download links:
Plasma rain! Some stay dry yet others feel the pain...
Darth's Tetris. I've never seen so much death in a toy box...
Avalanche. Balls will hit you. In the face.
First, let me apologize for my performance, because as much as I could keep in the lobby were only 6 guys. We play BTB, Team Slayer, Custom (Some Darth Human*) and had a lot of fun. I think I need tips for managing TGIF's, because I received only 4 invitations for my party, despite having a few people, I admit it was a great experience, I think I can avoid it the next time. With more contacts here in the Forge Hub, will be a pleasure to ensure the coolest TGIF's games. Thank you for your attention.

Recap:
Ok so I had a little predicament this week. I decided I would get up early for once in my miserable bum of a summer and turns out my mum was home. So, since I was up and ready to go, She decides to take me to the mall and buy my sister clothes and get my hair cut. Now we were there at 11:00 and my haircut lasted until 11:30, but you know women. I ended up getting back at 4:00. So, I started my party an hour late and cause Pinohkio a ton of undue stress, while he was still sleeping through our party. Nevertheless, our party started up at 4:00pm and we had a raring good time, as usual.
Feeling guilty this week,(mostly for being late) I decided to let many people test their maps. I do not feel comfortable however, taking pictures of them as it is not my place. So I’ll take pictures of the classics. As usual Jump rope was a lot of fun, especially when pinohkio decided to start some antics. OOverall i have to say the funniest moments of the night was a overkill on speed ... by the car and pinohkio parking a car on the jump rope rail. Pictures below guys and make sure to check out pinohkio’s video for the awesome video recap.

Here they come aaaaaaaaaand... left turn.
Oh I get it! Head shot!
I think Pinohkio was doing it wrong here...
Oh GOD! RUN AWAAAAAAAAAY!
Last week was my first week as a TGIF host. In my first attempt, I mistakenly put 6pm EST instead of 8pm and, of course, no one showed up. If it was any indication of things to come, my 2nd week was going to be a failure as well. As I'm waiting for 8pm to roll around, BAM! FORGE HUB IS HIT BY A GIANT METEOR!!!! PANIC !!! DEATH!!! DESTRUCTION!!!!! That's not what really happened, but I pictured it that way. In actuality, FH went down and I was unable to get a party going for a while. It was a good thing Kajin got it back up at a reasonable time (10pm), because the invites finally started rolling in. I stole BT's party to serve as a backbone for my own and immediately started enforcing rules like a boss! The brilliance of my scheme: steal BT's party, then make him message me for requests. It was too perfect.
List of maps:
CTF on Outline by Draw the Line
CTF on Gully by Me
1 Flag CTF on Geronimo by Me
Race on Deserted Island by Moccabeast
The Hushed Apprentice by Bones
Seismic by SinlessLegend
Clue on TC Tower by Black Theorem and ChuckThe first game on Outline started out very fast, with both teams coordinating for flag caps. It was going back and forth until blue team got the edge with a second capture to make it 2-1. Content with a lead, we played defense the rest of the way and it seemed to set the tone for the rest of the evening. We ended up winning that game 2-1, and aside from gully, all teamwork seemed to dissolve in the blink of an eye. On Gully, Blue team set the tone with a few warthog runs to get a few flag scores and never looked back, winning 3-1. The party started getting restless, and the chants for clue keep getting louder. With every game, the desperation in Chuck and BT's voices became more evident. Then suddenly, I was booted by nibbles for betraying him multiple times. Upon returning, I see Shanon with party leader and I quickly realize my plan had backfired. I had been stabbed in the back by Shanon, and BT got his party back.
TGIF 22 Recap for the Making A Better Tommorrow, Tommorrow Party
My second Tgif wasen't as fun as my first, mainly because I had to start late and end early, but we still had alot of fun. We played a grand total of 10 games over a span of 3 hours, including 5 minigames, 3 BTB, 1 battle track, and an infection.
Once again, we started with Crash-up derby. The game played horribly with 16 people, giving alot of lag. I had to end early because of it. Great map though. I then tested my latest version of sand bridge, with, as usual, mixed feelings from the players. some say they love it, others hate it. its hard to get a decent test in on it, but it is starting to edge closer to completion. the latest version (G) is on my fileshare, so go ahead and form your own opinion on the map. are you a lover or a hater? Or maybe one of the rare people in between?
there were 3 other notable games that we played, and ill try to go over them breifly. We played a battle tracks game on ducain23's map yoshi's circuit, which is a remake of the mario cart map. I followed that up with the finalized version of Battleship vs Carrier, my air-to-sea assult minigame map, and a really fun minigame map entitled Gallery, the gametype being "Shooting."
Well, I wish I could have gone longer, but I promise my next party will be much longer to make up for it, even with school starting :)
