Staff vs. Community
After our thorough thrashing at the hands of Black Water Ops a couple of weeks back, we thought it wise to pick on someone our own size. Short of being able to find someone our own size, we went one better and decided to just pick on ourselves, or rather you guys. This is not without precedent, but the last time that the community got to take a shot at our coloured ranks was not far off 2 years ago, back in the heyday of Halo 3, and we thought it about time we gave you another shot. Your efforts will not go unrewarded, and any members who manage to best us in combat will receive a custom title of their choosing for a period of two weeks, on top of that they may also choose the colour of this title so that it stands out just that little bit more than the staff members who they defeated in earning it.
If you want to take part, the process is simple:
Make a post in this thread with your gamertag AND send a friend request to iGotUrPegasi on Xbox LIVE
Make sure you're online and waiting in a lobby at 4PM EST on Saturday the 14th of May, exactly one week from today
Players will be chosen randomly from those online at this time
The more players you have with you in lobby (up to a full team of 4), the higher your chances of being selected
We will cycle players with each game, and a total of 3 games will be played
Loyal, Artisan and Architect ranks are regretfully excluded from this event (nothing personal, guys, we just want to give the wider community a shot)
Just to make things a little easier on you, here's a link to my profile page on Xbox.com. If you navigate there and sign in with the Windows Live ID linked to your gamertag, you can add me as a friend without even having to fire up your Xbox.
