Festive greetings to you all! BuddhaCrane here to present yu'le with the results for this week's (or is it "bi-weekly"? I dunno, I'm not the one usually writing this! Why are you even asking me?! Oh wait, I'm talking to myself again) Forge Hub Favourites III.

This round of FHF produced copious nominations, and seven maps made it to the voting stage. Of those seven, the top three have been chosen to be shown in this week's FHF. Once again, thanks to all the users who participated. Let's all congratulate the map creators.

Your winners are:

Clearly you all voted for A SILENT EMU's map not for its nuanced symmetrical gameplay, smart use of elevation, or balanced weapon set. No, you voted for this map because it has like five freakin' trees in it! if that's not enough forestry goodness for you then you can always look out of the beautiful observatory window and see even more trees - Treemendous!

Given that Perseverance is now in version 2.1, I would say this map is living up to its name! One logically impaired fellow described SecretSchnitzel's map like this: "Dude this is like Narrows. I hate Narrows, but this map is awesome." - Need I say more? No, I need not, I'm not being paid enough to!

Not to be confused by the almost-as-popular "hyrdo", hydro is a map, quite surprisingly, based around water, with underwater sections too. There are even spitting hydras in this map! If that doesn't convince you to download Grumpy Duckling's creation then check out his video where he shoots the crap out of water - yeah, you show it who's boss!

A big, hearty kick in the face "congratulations" to our winners, and a medium-sized—yet still fully appreciated—"thank you" to the nominators and voters. Good work, but now we have to do it all over again! I dunno about you guys but I'm still waiting for the first competitive map to be built entirely in the water with a tree for the centre piece - it would be glorious! Maybe somebody will build one and we can all vote for it in the next FHF.
