It's a big day in the good ol' United States of American, yes sir. July 4th; the day you all became slaves to the dollar bill...oh wait sorry, I mean the day you gained your independence. However, in modern times July 4th is the embodiment of really loud noises and heavy levels of intoxication; coupled with overly extravagant displays of fireworks. So what exactly does that equal? Why one hell of a party of course. So to all of our American friends: please don't end up in the hospital and enjoy your inebriation! But despite it being such a momentous time of the year, we still do have a site update to go on with.
For Starters..
As many of you may have read in the last update, we were preparing to say goodbye to some old friends who had been colored purple with honor. During the two week period between updates, we demolished the loyal rank as it had been known for as long as time itself (or something like two and a half years, same difference). From the ashes of the old rank a new loyal was birthed; one that represented the achievements of great testers and great reviewers. Thus we are proud to announce the first additions to the new loyal, congratulations Bloo Jay, RedNeck and What's A Scope?, all of whom have excelled in the Review Hub (Scope is also a Testers Guild Leader). We hope to see many more achieve the purple ranks through their hard work and dedication.
In other promotion based news LIGHTSOUT225 has decided that blue is his new favorite color and has opted to help out the very overworked and under payed moderating staff.
Peeing in Your Cornflakes
The Review Hub just won't stop ruining the days of innocent forgers (they've made the occasional person's day, but it's rare). Bloo Jay, Death YoYo, MickRaider, RedNeck and What's A Scope? are docking points off of everything in sight. MickRaider (the most tyrannical of them all) has also stepped up to fill the shoes of Insane54 for a short while so don't expect things to get any easier for the time being. Glad You Got Your Passports
Holy mother of forge lovin' goodness the Foreign Treasures contest was successful. I was so very pleased to see you guys take such an interest in the contest and the entries were sheer gold. Honestly, I can't wait to test all of your creations. I would like to thank all entrants for participating and the contest should be concluded by the beginning of next week so be on the lookout!
Gettin' Our Hair Dyed
As we announced in the last update, the skin is on its way. While I don't have an exact time frame to give you, I can let you know it will be here soon. How soon isn't something I can say for sure but I can tell you it's looking damn sexy in operation. I personally can't wait until we all get our hands on this baby. Hopefully we'll have more information on a drop date by the end of the week.

July 7th, 2010, which is better known as Bungie day to the many communities of Halo, will bring a whole level of new hotness to the forefront. While we know little of what Bungie will be offering, the passed experiences (free content, Cold Storage, Bungie vs the World) with B-Day have been pleasant ones. It's likely we'll see some exclusive Reach XBL content, as well as some glorious and long awaited information hopefully to do with Forge. As if that wasn't enough, 343 Industries will be putting some stuff up themselves on Halo Waypoint, so definitely check that out.

I know how much you all love Forge Hub, I mean it's obviously your absolute favorite website. Honestly, I'd be completely surprised if anyone didn't have it set to their homepage (screw Google, you can get a tool bar). And So the Summer Flies By...
Wow, another two weeks gone to the wind and to be honest, I can't say I'm sad about that. I've never wanted a summer to end so badly; with the coming of Halo: Reach and a new year of University. While this update wasn't quite as action packed as the last, I can say that we certainly haven't run out of surprises, though we aren't ready to announce those yet. I wish we could, I really do but not yet. July 7th though; check back then if not before. We may or may not have something, it's hard to say for sure. If we don't there will certainly be talk about what Bungie drops.
