Remember me? I used to do this sometimes. Well I'm back now, officially a free and (hopefully) qualified individual. In other words I no longer have that comfortable social excuse of 'student' with which to mask the fact that I do nothing and have no job. As such, I'm now left bored and without an established writing outlet. If you wish to find out the goings on of Forge Hub, this is a state of affairs that you may find to be a slight hinderance. I'm afraid you will just have to suffer this and deal with it, or abandon any such pursuits altogether. Par exemple:

Promotions
Not satisfied with out recent addition of six (count 'em six!) members to the wealth of Forging talent we call Premium? Well that's just fine and dandy, 'cause we've got two more for ya. Ell3ment ascends from the plebeian ranks of lowly grey-ship to poop coloured glory, whilst his forging buddy Gunnergrunt performs more of a sideways gesture, shimmying across from the Loyal cohort in to similarly poop tinted high society, be sure to congratulate them on instantly becoming all around better human beings than your mediocre, grey selves. Never one to miss a trick, What's A Scope? has jumped in to the purple void left by GG and stepped down from his Guardian duties, shout out to scope for helping keep the place clean.
By the way, I'm well aware that certain sections of the above may land me in rather hot water when the inevitable day of grey revolution comes to pass, when fires rain from the heavens and Moderators (I'm sorry, it's the promotions section, I can't help it) find themselves perma-banned after handing out six infractions. The very fabric of the Admin CP will crumble and fall, and from its ashes the "Regular User" usergroup will transcend mere forum permissions to bring order where now there stands chaos, justice where now there stands corruption, and the Forge Hub social hierarchy will finally reflect the polite shock with which my irl friends, unfamiliar with our fine institution, react when I forget myself and talk candidly and righteously about "Coloured Members". On that day, I shall say again what I say to you now: I regret nothing.

LOLbox returns!
So the LOLbox is back (obviously), and after some back end fiddling (I know what you're thinking. Just don't), and a colourful little journey around a wide selection of our fine pages it's finally where it should be: Top of the main Index page and on your User CP (oh snap, you didn't know it was there too?). However, we should let you know that the LOLbox is a highly server-intensive addition to our site, this is in fact the reason it was removed in the past, the server simply could not handle it alongside the rest of the site. Simply put, we have to keep an eye on how many of our resources it is taking. Whilst you shouldn't be reluctant to sleep for fear of waking up to find your precious chat function gone, your only joy and sole reason for existence, wrenched from your life only moments after rediscovering anew your teenage love affair with text based chat (to be honest, if you ever find yourself feeling like this then you should strongly consider asking Sarge for a temporary ban from said LOLbox. He'll do it. Trust me), we thought it fair to give a heads up. If server load becomes an issue in future, shutting it off again is something we might have to consider.
But cheer up, it may never happen.
The Beta - It WAS Super Awesome
Well, we had some fun while you were here, Beta. It's sad to see you go so soon. Even though we just met, I feel like I've known you forever. It felt just...right. Ya know what I mean? And even though I know it wasn't your intent, I can't help but feel like you led me on a bit. I guess we both knew this day would come. I even feared, nay, dreaded it. And now it feels like a small part of my heart has been ripped out and 5-shotted with one of your oh so tasty (read: deadly) DMRs. I know that in the end, it wasn't me. It was you. But hopefully you can spend your time away becoming even more awesome, and who knows maybe...just maybe, we can make the sweet loves again one day. No pressure or anything, but I know I'll see you in the fall, and I just don't want things to be awkward. But I will wait for you. I will wait for you.

Remember to save all your awesome screenshots and films while you can. They'll be heading off into the sunset as well soon enough.
From one Beta to another
Remember FBU's FH: RPG from a while back? Well it sort of ground to a halt after a while, and those lusting after a fantasy, 2-D rendition of Forge Hub's intricacies were left forlorn once again. Recently, a few members gathered together and tried to fix this, renewing the idea and starting their project of The Other FH: RPG. It's now in official Beta, and just like the big guys up at Bungie, they need your help to refine this project and make the final game as fun as possible. If this sounds like your cup of tea, check out the Beta Thread and the Social Group to see what these guys are about.
