Promotions/Demotions
This update sees longtime Guardian Adelyss return to the rank of Premium, we'd like to thank him for his contribution to moderating duties during his time as a Guardian. We've also got a new addition to our Affiliates rank, in the form of firestream, an admin over at Halo Charts, with which many of you are doubtless familiar. Our last promotion comes in hot off the press, with Gunnergrunt having just moved to the rank of Loyal. He's put in sterling work around the community, be sure to congratulate him.

Community Holiday-Tage
AmercanPsycho and Pegasi Delta are putting together a community montage to celebrate the holidays, and submissions for clips are now open. Funny clips, unlikely events, bloopers or just all out skill plays are welcomed, and the final montage will feature something for all tastes. The deadline for submissions is Midnight GMT on Friday the 25th of December (AKA Christmas Day), and you can find all the details here. If you've got that epic clip lurking somewhere in the depths of your HD, then this is the time to dig it out.
Tell us your thoughts
A thread has been posted in customer service with the aims of gathering feedback on regular front page articles, giving you the chance to tell us what you like about them, what you don't like about them, or simply which ones you think should stay or go. Feedback from this thread will be collated to help us understand better what the community wants to see on the front page, meaning we can provide content more in keeping with what you enjoy reading. Lookin' Good
If you missed it during its time on the front page, you may want to take a look at Forge Hub's latest contest, Wonders of the World. Themed, as the name suggests, around recreating the wonders of the world within the confines of Forge, this is a chance for all you aesthetic gurus out there to show us your skills in action. Check out the link to the thread above to find out more, and of course there are a few prizes on offer as always.
Clean Me
The shoutbox got a thorough dusting to make it a friendlier place that doesn't get in the way of your serious philosophical discussions. Now it refreshes faster, shows more shouts at a time, and only logs you out after a full 10 minutes of inactivity. On top of all that, a handful of unnecessary snippets of text were culled to let your eyes scan the conversation more easily.
Finally, the shoutbox rules also got a small update. 'Spamming' rather than 'extreme spamming' is now disallowed, as is posting links to your own maps - unofficial rules finally written down, in short. Enjoy!
We'll meet again some sunny day
Although sunny days are going to be few and far between in the coming weeks, that is unless you live in that crazy reverse land down under, we will indeed be back. Until then, happy holidays everyone.
