Welcome avid readers to the Forge Hub community Spotlight. Here we highlight some of the shiny stars, as well as underlooked talents, using anything from inquisitive interviews, to map highlights and anything else that we feel has gone without enough notice. This week on the Community Spotlight we have The Cheat, another member chosen through fun random selection! We took the 500 members with the top amount of posts, used a random number generator (number:286), and we were given The Cheat. So check out what he has to say about the Hub.
Many of us found our way here very differently, how did you first happen upon Forge Hub?
I first found forge back around December of 2007, when they're were first mentioned on Bungie.net. I checked it out, and really enjoyed some of the maps and game variants this site had to offer. After a few months of lurking, I promptly decided to join.
Once you arrived here, what kept you enthralled with the community?
The awesome user-created content has been a pretty good incentive to stay. Even in recent times, where I haven't been as active as I once was, I still check Forge Hub every so often to see what sort of amazing maps people have come up with.
Some people love us, some people hate us, some don't even care. Whats your opinion on the Forge Hub community?
Everyone here is very friendly, and it's that way since I joined. People always have some crazy stories to tell, and serious altercations between members are a rare sight. We may have 30,000+ more members, but the overall atmosphere of the site hasn't changed much.
Having been a member here for quite some time, what have you come across here at the Hub that you are fond of?
The shoutbox is always a place for some serious "Lulz", if that counts. I enjoy the Map section the most, though. It sometimes baffles me how many maps a single community can produce in one day, and you never know what sort of hidden gems you can find there
Forge Hub has a large amount of members who frequent the site, out of those guys, who would you say you get along with the most?
If I had to name them, I would say I get along with Huntar, Sotha Sil156, and Deathtoll77 the best.
For the past few months, Forge Hub has been teasing a big announcement, which turned out to be the next installment of a Forge Hub wide tournament. What are your thoughts on the reveal?
TONS OF FABULOUS PRIZES!!! In all seriousness, however. I think it it's a nice way to get members to game together (or against each other, in this situation), and the Conflict gametype is quite the unusual, but fun twist. If I had more time in my schedule for Halo, I'd probably be competing in it.
A lot of different members work on different things around the site. What do you feel you've contributed most too around the site?
Constructive Criticism would be my field of expertise. I may not be the best forger, but from a gameplay standard, I believe I can help a lot. Of course, I might just be inflating my own ego, at the moment, but that's what I think I've contributed the most to.
Out of all the great Forge maps to grace the pages of FH, which would you say is the most outstanding to you?

Many hubbers frequent Halo 3, and like to play some matchmaking. Which playlist do you like to spend countless hours in?
Multi Team.
What activities do you take part in outside of Forge Hub?
Outside of Forge Hub, I enjoy listening to and playing music. I play a multitude of musical instruments, including the guitar, bass, drums, piano, and saxophone. I enjoy Paintball, and sleeping, as well.
Is there anything you'd like to add before we wrap up?
Thanks for choosing me for this spotlight, twas' quite the fun experience. A celebration is in order, but for now, I'm going to sleep.
