Forge Hub's very own bi-annual competition, the Best of Forge, was announced not long ago, with round 1 nominations now underway. Changes were made to the nomination process this time around, with nominations being made via PM instead of a thread to help things run more smoothly. But we are aware that not having the voting thread bobbing about at the top of the forums removes that visual reminder to make your opinions heard on the maps which you think really deserve to be crowned the Best of Forge. On this note, we thought we'd take the time to remind one and all to get moving and make your voices heard.
This season's Best of Forge has the happy advantage of having Sandbox's release mid way through the period of eligibility, meaning that results should offer a wealth of great maps on both of the forgers' favourite canvases, Sandbox and Foundry. As a result, we have high hopes for the winners this time around, spanning both of these staple canvases as well as the other specialist canvases and some good, classic Pre-DLC maps.
Here are the links to nominate in all of the different categories once again. Click the button for each category to send a PM with your map nomination. Remember, all nominations must include a link to the map post on the Forge Hub forums:

Here is a rundown of the basic rules and guidelines:
The map you nominate or vote for cannot be your own.
The map must have been posted on ForgeHub.com
The map has to have been made between January 14th, 2009 and July 11th, 2009.
All votes and nominations must be serious. If the map you submit is a joke, it will be discarded and ignored. Infractions may follow.
You may only vote for each category once. If you send anything other than a vote to one of the dummy accounts, an infraction may follow.
Please be advised that anyone found creating duplicate accounts in order to spam votes will be furiously permabanned. The staff is watching. Don't do it!
