After two stages of voting, we finally have the results for the best maps Forge Hub has to offer in all 16 categories.

Best Overall:
Grindstone

Not to be outdone by its obvious beauty, Grindstone boasts an intuitive and flowing layout alongside one of a kind gameplay. Using 3 quarters of Foundry, Grindstone was certainly a trend setter over the Winter months calling several Hard Drives its respective home.

Best Slayer:
Remedy

Taking the battle to a whole new frontier of foundry, Remedy boasts both a competitive and fun weapon layout, as well as great separation of areas mixed with smooth terrain transitions. Whether it be in teams of two, or flying solo, Remedy is most assuredly the king of body counts.

Best Symmetrical Objective:
Vertebraille

Vertebraille's standout feature is its fantastic, innovative, design which lends itself to symmetrical gametypes. Whether it be Multi Flag, Land Grab, Assault, Vertebraille excels above and beyond rivaled maps.

Best Asymmetric Objective:
Metro

Metro creates a one of a kind urban environment as well as being a haven for one sided gametypes. With outstanding, recognizable scenery, Metro appears much bigger than it actually is.

Best Infection:
Manifest (Help's on the way, right?)

Taking infection in what some may consider, a step in the wrong direction because of the norm, Manifest goes back to its roots and creates a one of a kind infection experience. Manifest makes astounding use of Foundry's scenery and turns it into its own environment with imposing rooftops and claustrophobic corridors.

Best Casual:
Cave Freaks

What some might consider the embodiment of casual, Cave Freaks adopts a new, refreshing twist to the VIP gametype. Unlike some of its counterparts, Cave Freaks requires teamwork and makes successful use of that feature.

Regicide

Regicide takes the typical MLG style known to most and flips it on its head with its flawless creation and innovative structures. Asymmetry at its absolute finest.

8 Emerald Legs

Who would have thought giant spiders would one day overrun Halo 2's most beloved map. 8 Emerald legs creates this imaginative scenario with extreme realism.

Best Race:
Quasar

Composed of amazing, looping turns created by incredible forging, Quasar is a drive to be had. This map is a testament to the extreme skills required to create such a professional race map.

Best Mini-Game:
Pennyless

Pennyless is the game that swept through the Fall months, causing controversy and entertainment, much more so of the latter. It utilizes short rounds, survival tactics and innovative weapon use, making it an addictive, fast paced frenzy.

Vertebraille

Vertebraille's design consists of smooth flowing surfaces, unique play spaces, a full effective map hazard and wonderful symmetrical equality. This map is truly the result of great pre-structural planning.

8 Emerald Legs has not only, raised the bar, but ripped it right off and throw it into the hemisphere as far as aesthetic maps go. It makes exceptional use out of the objects available to create this mammoth beast.

Moon Waffle

Moon Waffle takes the "Wow Factor" to a whole new level. The map revolves around its flawless Elevator and seamless technical abilities.

Best Non-Foundry
Castlanche

There are very few souls of brave forging outside the confines of foundry, but Castlanche is one map that is sure to impress. Great for large scale games combined with vehicle combat, this map demonstrates the potential of non-foundry forges.

At first glance you'd guess Grindstone just can't exist without bending the rules of Foundry. But it defies the odds and everything else thrown at it to reign supreme as truly great map.

Best Far Cry 2:
Hoover Gorge

With a great mix of both long and short range combat, Hoover Gorge is an exceptional map for various classes. Combine this with amazing aesthetics and realistic structure, and Hoover gorge is one truly amazing map, perfectly displaying the capabilities of the Far Cry 2 creation tool.
