TGIF #24 Recap
With the start of a new year, we forge hubbers find ourselves playing our classic TGIF. Being the first this year, it was set off to a good start. Each parties had something going on that was something to remember. We hope those who made it had a blast, and those who didn't will be able to make it next time. Now on to the recap.

Vorpal Saint's recap:
I'll first off say thanks to those who stayed from the start to the very end (you know you who you are) and I'm uber sorry to rusty eagle for not saving the game of his epic get away on Forgotten Crypt. Anyways, I had a blast for in my TGIF. We played mostly competitive maps ranging from Regicide, to Teamwerks. We started off with MLG asymmetrical maps and then moved on to map made for flag games. We had taken a turn and played maps made for slayer and assualt, and then went on and did conquest. We had a nice group photo and went on with the night. Moving into more of a mix of games. Such as multi-team-slayer, 1-bomb, and Flag Quest. After which we played Teamwerks, Battle Snipers, and Loyal Snipers. With the night nearing its end we mixed it up a bit and opened the party a tad. We had massive chaos xX5w33ny70ddXx's map Ambrosia by playing Chaos King. If you don't know the map, it's actually only really suitable for a 1v1 or 4 person FFA. So having 14 people on it with a KotH game (where kills count) was in fact very fun. We moved on to play Forgotten Crypt and Cat 'n' Mouse. By the end of it all I was rather tired. Oddly enough, I got randomly kicked from my own party when I was going to leave anyways, so it kind of worked out for me. I had a hell of a TGIF and I can't wait for the next one. Hope to see you all there.
Vicious Vice's recap:
This was possibly the greatest TGIF i have ever been in. There was no particular moment that stood out but while doing my recap every game had a moment i remembered and i ended up taking over 40 pictures. HERE. The room started promptly at 7pm EST and was quickly filled to capacity. We played all of the usual mini games and a couple of new ones like Soviet Border and Manifest which were both excellent. Between mini-games we played classic objective maps like Conquest on Cellars and One Flag on Kentucky Tango. I'm not sure what game everyone preferred the most because everyone seemed to enjoy themselves in each game but i do remember Tremor Blast and Cat n mouse being played the most. We played on early into the morning where i split the party up for a good night's sleep. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
COMMANDERMATT1's recap:
My party started an hour early then my scheduled time due to a certain member (HaloStriker214) bringing his left over party into my campaign game that I was about to start. Despite the inconvenience of him bringing his party; I went on to start some Mini-Games. The first game of the day started with two games of Shotty's in a Can which went well. I then led my party on to some great and fun Mini-Games like Sapphire, Snow Mice, Tremor N' Mouse, and many other games. We also played some community maps of infection which was very fun to play.
Before I leave, I would like to thank everyone who was in my party for being very mature. I shared some laughs with my party and I hope my party feels the same. I guess I should stop calling it my "Party" since I always manage to make new friends every time I host. I would also like to apologize to my friends/party members for not making a recap of the party due to me being lazy at just about everything I do. Also, I would like to give a Thank You to Ivory Snake for staying in my party and being my unofficial Co-Host of the night. This concludes my TGIF #24 Recap I hope everyone in my party had a great time playing.
DeathToll77's recap:
My TGIF was simply epic in every possible way. My party started early when I turned on my xbox and people just came in. My party went from about 7:30pm-3:00am. We played everything, some even twice. Games ranged from Transfusion to 16 FFA slayer on guardian. We maintained about 8 people for the first half, and in the second half we had constant doulbe digit players. Games that support large parties like tremor blast and Valley of the Beasts were a must in the situation. Tremors and mouse was memorable because everybody stopped running from the tremor and gave it a great big hug, the tremor was nice enough not to kill us. Throught the night we only suffered minor lag problems, and a rather annoying player joining and not staying because we were'nt playing tremor blast 24/7. All in all we had a great time, some people stayed the whole time, and the player behaved in a mature manner.
xSharpshooter94's Recap:
Well despite my trouble getting my party started, I’d say that we all had a great time at my TGIF. As can be expected from any big party, there was some lag, but I think we all had fun anyway. The beginning started with MLG and A few mongoose games, including Tremor Blast, which I completely dominated and then everyone in my party lagged out. So I got a few people back in and we started play a few race tracks. After Agamer, eguitarplaya33 and Xanon joined, I couldn’t keep people out. Then we also got a few more competitive games and then we ended with a couple of epic sniper battles on Gridlocked and Metro. Overall I’d say my TGIF was great, I had a lot of nice mature guys, we all had a ton of fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed hosting.
HaloStriker214'2 recap:
Well first we started off with Tremors on Valhalla then a bit of Jenga Tower ( The original one) because I have never played the original before so I wanted to play it. Overall it worked pretty well. Then we played Duel of the Fates by Shock and Insane's map. Although there were 12 people instead of 3. Since we started off with some odd choices for maps guess what we played next.... Porcelean Pony. Yes the gigantic toilet made by rusty and co. The score was 2-0 Red. I was on the blue team and we got our asses whooped. Afterwards we played a bit of Cat and Mouse on Valhalla. The first two rounds began with me blowing up. We then did some group photos and finished up my hosting with Slit Pinball 2. I gave the leader to Spazmonkey92 to play Iron Curtain which was a blast. After that CommanderMatt came on and so I party bombed him with 10 people. Thus began his T.G.I.F....
