Round 11 will end on Sunday the 16th November at 5pm EST / 10pm GMT
Round 11 matches are posted in your respective Group Sub-Boards, use the Round 10 match threads to record any possible Round 11 matches and results.
Remember - You play 3 matches - 1 Match on each of the 3 gametypes
The group stages are over for some, but others must buckle down for another week of the same. Any team coming from the WB into Round 10 had the luxury of only needing one win to qualify for the Quarter Finals. But if the emerging LB team won their Round 10 faceoff they still need to do it again if they want to clear their group. Rounds 10 and 11 act somewhat like one long round, so you still have a week to get your games in if you haven't done so already, but make sure you have time for all six possible games if this is the case (see below). Following the close of Round 11 there will be a weeks break before the Quarter Finals commence, you can also expect a breakdown of the tournament so far, some interesting tid bits on the surviving teams, and some other tasty treats to wet your appetites. To those who still have another week's battle ahead, good luck.
Start of Round Ten
There are only matches in some groups this week, since only those LB teams who won in Round 10 stay in the tournament to fight on. Any WB winners last round have the week off. Any unplayed Round 10 matches have until this sunday to get your matches done, but should there be the need for a Round 11 match this will also have to played before sunday, organise well guys.
Any match last round where the emerging LB team won will be replayed, other groups have a week off this round.
If any Round 10 matches haven't been played yet then you have until this coming sunday to get your games played. But remember, if the LB team win you must play each other again, so if you haven't got your Round 10 matches done yet then be sure to organise a long time slot in case the LB team win and you have to go through another 3 games.
If you do play Rounds 10 and 11 then be sure the post the results of both rounds in your match thread, since any Round 11 matches played will be the same as the Round 10 pairings the threads will not be closed until Round 11 ends this coming sunday, and will be used to record both rounds, should the need arise.
Following this round, there will be a weeks break before the Quarter Finals begin.
And remember, if you're stuck with anything, be sure to check out our tournament FAQ.
Credence (Round 11 map)
As far as aesthetics go, Credence has the upper hand on most maps. The large, imposing arches, and elegant and seamless walls along with the awe-inspiring stair-wall create a relatively natural, organic feel, a feat that is difficult to accomplish in the bland warehouse that is foundry.
Gameplay-wise, Credence is not one to disappoint. The looming arches are more than just a nice touch, they provide strategic cover for those on the run from a BR fight, or others who have just come out of one victorious.

Sub-Station B (Round 12/QF map)
Get ready guys and gals, the final bracket maps are here at last, and they do not disappoint. Sub-Station B is a symmetrical map that flows like no other. Round and round you'll go, who will win? No one knows. TexturedSun used varying levels of height extremely well while still promoting lots of circular movement for some very fast-paced gameplay. Combine that with some interesting lines of sight and you'll find yourself a very addicting map.
A spicy weapon selection and even a Warthog (you heard right) lend themselves to a unique gameplay experience yet to be seen in the Faceoff tournament. Balanced to perfection, Sub-Station B is sure to produce some very tight matches, with a little hint of insanity to boot. Expect non-stop action, lots of competition, and a ton of laughs. Sub-Station B is definitely a keeper. This map is being released well in advance of Round 12, so you have a full two weeks to get to know it in its entirety, enjoy.
