FNF #8 - Team Hammer vs Facility B5D
As our 8th bi-weekly Friday Night Fight, the staff decided to challenge a new group known as Facility 5BD. Facility 5BD is a group centered around recon, as most of their members have managed to obtain the rare armor perm. Unfortunately for us, the guys we were playing it earned it through immense skill at halo, instead of just luck...
Things got worse when we saw their ranks, two generals and two brigadiers weren't exactly going to be pushovers.
Team Hammar:

Match One - Kentucky Tango by Cosmic Rick:
Thinking that it'd be smart to go with one of the more famous forge maps Team Hammar opted for Kentucky Tango, which is an asymmetrical one-flag map. They thought that playing on a map such as Kentucky Tango, which is pretty much a home ground for the staff these days, would give them the upper hand. Sadly, they were wrong.
Despite having a large amount of previous experience on a map that really requires prior knowledge of the layout to be successful on, team Hammar were somehow undermined by the raw skill of the recon wielding Facility boys.

Match Two - Gridlocked by Draw the Line:
Facility B5D opted for a symmetrical map for game two, but they decided on a forged one to keep a theme going. Symmetrical maps are a real test of skill, as no team would have access to anything that may give them an early upper hand. Not a good sign for a staff team who weren't performing to their best. Team Hammar had their moments, but overall, team Facility was just overwhelming.

Match Three - MLG Hype by SuperFeiGn:
Yet another flag match, Facility obviously new how to push our buttons, as they managed to march on to a glorious 3-1 win, which also ended in a whitewash of the staff. But in this game, Team Hammar managed to step it up and play a respectable game, even if they did end up getting steam rolled by recon.
