Ridgeline Raceway (Forge World Rally)

Ridgeline Raceway Forge Race Map by Wraith2098 - YouTube

Pictures, in order of the map

Ridgeline Raceway starts on Paradiso Island, runs along the ridgelines and over the top of Alaska and Montana, and down a death defying jump back to Paradiso Island. My best lap on this map is 1:52 can you beat me?

I spent over four months on this race track tweaking nearly every last inch to ensure a smooth ride that is also very challenging. I was inspired by games like DIRT and my childhood game Test Drive Off Road. I wanted to emulate that wide open high speed environment with plenty of drive by visuals. This map is compatible with 16 players as seen in the video, but if you are looking for a more competitive race I would recommend 4-8 players max.

I have a teleporting system I designed for this map. Instead of hitting a kill zone when you fall off, you'll be teleported back onto the track and immediately get back into the race. Here is a video of how it works,

I have changed one teleporter to avoid shortcuts. The last teleporter at the cannon jump has been moved back to where the checkpoint is instead of at the bottom of the jump.

There are a few updates to the track since the videos/pictures but only minor aesthetic changes.

Make sure you download the custom gametype (Warthog Race) as well!

Let me know what you guys think, and post your best lap times!

Enjoy!
