Solace

Since I'm new to Forgehub, I figured I would showcase one of my recent (and probably best) competitive maps!

Anyways, this map is called Solace which is named after a James Bond movie (Quantum of Solace) because my stack of DVDs caught my eye while naming this map. Unfortunately there is no James Bond related content when it comes to playing this map.

Solace is a Competitive map forged by Pyro UK and Waffles EU that is designed for 8+ players. It was first forged with an infantry only style but we decided that vehicles are the core of Big Team Battle gameplay and it would produce a more enjoyable playing experience with their inclusion.

It plays really well on these gametypes:

- Team Slayer
- FFA
- King of the Hill
- Multi Flag
- 3 Plots
- Oddball

My personal favourite is Oddball because it is different to most oddball suited maps due to the ball carrier being able to hop into the passenger seat of a vehicle and drive around the map in style! Don't worry! The vehicles are relatively easy to take down so it doesn't make "Wartballing" very powerful.
