Contention my very first invasion map i have ever created. it needs atleast 8 players to play and supports 16 very well. the story of the map is that this base is a UNSC satcom tower that has been taken over by the Covenant and they have put a disruptor core on the satalites proccesor. and the spartans are invading to retrive the core and get the satcom base back up and running .this map is ALOT of fun especially with a full party and has great ground and air battles . the phases are listed below

PHASE 1

in phase one the spartans objective is to capture the one of the two generators in the cave. the elites spawn close to this position so the spartans need to hurry up and capture these two before the elites set up their defenses. also no weapons or vehicles spawn on this round besides two DMRs in the cave .

PHASE 2

in this phase their new objective is to capture one of the two generators controlling the sheilds to the base . on this phase a sniper spawns on the middle rock near the second generator of the first round and a shot gun also spawns in the cave directly next to the same generator. for elites a ghost spawns on near the base. and a default warthog spawns in the beginning spawns area for spartans.

PHASE 3

in this 3rd and final phase the spartans must retieve the core from inside the base and take it upstairs using the man cannon in the center ( tip: use the gravity lifts to get to the core or go up the ramps of the buildings inside the base to get the core only use the man cannon to go all the way upstairs to where u put the core)
after upstairs take the core to the back and walk up to the top of the catwalk to score the core . for the spartans, the spartan laser spawns just before the bridge on the spartans side on the spire rock in a puddle of water. the falcon and gauss hog spawn at the spartans first spawn . for the elites, the banshee spawns to the right of the base on a platform. and the revnant spawns to the left of the base under the ramp. the plasma launcher spawns directly under the banshee platform , the focus rifle spawns in the base behind the middle man cannon. THIS PHASE IS CRAZY. it has arial and ground vehicle battles and is alot of fun.
