Introduction:

Hello fellow viewers. Today I bring a map with excitement to you all. I have been working very hard lately on both the game type and the map, so please, take this time to read and enjoy the presentation.

About the map:

"Cave Lab" was originally posted months ago here on Forge hub as a fairly decent map. Well actually, I thought it was a terrible map. Now if you have seen my posts here on FH before, I have always explained about new things Iv learned, and applied it to the new maps I made. Well this time, I have something very interesting to bring you, and it is for sure my best work yet since the release of "I hear its safe on the other side" game from Halo 3. A few weeks ago I decided to go back and make this map far better (since it is already lacking the fun game play and good layout) but it was not just the lay out I was concerned about, It was something else, But I had no idea what it was. Every time I started a game on any of my maps, I felt like it was lacking something very important.

After about 3 days of thinking (while played halo) I found my self loading up campaign to see if I could capture just what I was missing. After a few games in it, something got my understanding, though I don't remember what exactly did it for me, all I knew is that I could my solution. One that would make you wounder why in the world I would think this would make a huge difference in the fun game play for my zombie maps. It was attention to detail! I began looking all around me, and I realized that what made these campaign maps so good is because of the amazing amount of detail the maps brought. I thought that if I could think clever, that I could make a very detailed map which in turn could actually change sight lines, and make the map play very interesting, along with looking wonderful. I than got right to work!

I went back into the map around 5 times, constantly adding and taking out. I made so many changes for the better, I don't think this map could play out any better then it does! I have added detail in the best way possible and have made the guns of the map very fitting for the map and the infection games. There used to be alot of guns, that all respawned, but now I have a limited amount of weapons and ammunition for them, and the gun are on never respawn, making the players feel like they are never completely safe, forcing them to bond together to make the most out of their fire power. The map has been opened up more by making better layouts and doorways allowing quick and easy access to any part of the map. Not to mention for like the 3rd time, I added a stunning amount of cool detail, causing the map to manipulate the game play for the better. Sight lines changed, and strategies changed for both factions.

The game type:

This one was easy to get right, only because I tried my best to make it right the first time around. I have made the game very very balanced by giving the zombies 110% of health while having no Shields. I have also gave the zombies limited sprint. For the humans, they are what you expect. They have sprint with no unlimited ammo. Also the last man standing takes 3 hits before he dies, giving the human a few more seconds to pick some kills. Everything in the game type works out very nicely, and while there is much more to it, It would be no surprise to tell you about how the game type is exactly set up. Nothing to different in it, except that the zombies are as fun and balanced as they are going to get without being over powering.
