Blue Base

Red Base

The Overview
Division is a medium-large scale map that can support 4x4 and 8x8 matches, although it works best with 6x6. The structure that defines the bases gives it exceptional creativiy and the layout of the canvas creates a fun terrain to play on.

The Creation
When I began to create Division, all I was simply experimenting with base structure and seeing what I could create. It turned out that I liked the position of the base and its combination of the large walkway covers and satellite that I decided to continue and make another. After making the blue base, I had to find a spot to create the red base. After thinking about 10 minutes, I decided to put it about where the blue base is on Paridiso. I wanted it to have a fun terrain to play on as well as map that can function with gametypes between 4x4 and 8x8. I decided to load the map with power weapons about everyone can have a good backup weapon. When it came down to vehicle choice, I had to decided that a ghost, a couple of mongooses along with a Warthog and Revenant would suffice for each base. I also had a hard time creating the red team's side of the battlefield considering I had to take the rock sturcture on the blue side and manipulate it to the red side. As of now I'm pretty satisfied with outcome, but I may end up fixing a couple of rocks I had previous trouble with. In the end, I am quite happy with both the looks and the play of this map.

The Testing
I have to say that Division was my favorite map for testing. It was so much fun to drive the Warthog and Revenant over the terrain provided on Division. I also found many things wrong with the map I would have never noticed without testing, so I am very appreciative of the people that was willing to test the map. After each time I tested this map, I think everyone enjoyed playing Division and discovering its contents, the testers that gave negative comments seemed to only be intrested in playing infection gametypes, so in my opinion, this map turned out to be a great success.

The Future
In the future, I plan to add a video as well as a few more screenshots of Division being tested in order for a better under standing of the map. Feel free to comment your point of view of the map and any type of contructive criticism is welcome.
