The Best of Gears of War - but Better

From hearing about Gears of War 3, it managed to inspire me to create this map pack, featuring 5 new maps, Re-imagined from Popular Gears of War 1 and 2 maps.

Despite holding back on MLGpro, I am pleased to present these 5 maps. Playing them in the past GoW games allowed me to remember today how much potential they had for Reach. However, they did need some changes for adaption. Some underwent alot; some little. Considering they are re-imagined, they have different names.

Anyways, with concise descriptions, here they are:

Waterway [Canals from GoW 1]

Gametypes: TS, CTF, HILL

Relatively popular map back in the day, with water running through the bottom, and 3 bridges connecting LOS with another (Middle bridge blocks the main LOS).

Underwent Major changes

Power Weapons:
-Rockets (Bottom mid ledge)
-Sniper (At purple)

Estate [Mansion from GoW 1]

Gametypes: TS, CTF, HILL

Very popular and enjoyable map back then. Includes Outdoor and Indoor gameplay.

-Underwent Minor changes indoor; Major Changes outdoor

Power Weapons:

-Rocket Launcher (outside, middle platform on the end)
-Grenade Launcher (inside, middle/up top)

Sector [Pavilion from GoW 2]

Gametypes: TS & CTF

Not as popular map, but great layout to work with. The resemblence is still there, but underwent the most change out of every map i re-imagined. It is an extreme mix between Pavilion and Construct.

-Rocket Launcher (Bottom, at the end)
-Grenade Launcher (Top Mid)

Bloodbound [Blood Drive from GoW 2]

Gametypes: TS & CTF

Probably one of the best Gears of War maps out there. It had a decent layout, but it needed some help. The bases are much more open, the nade room is open and jumpable, and slight other changes happened.

Underwent Medium level changes

Power Weapons:

-Grenade Launcher (Bottom Mid towards bases)
-Evade [not really a power weapon] (bottom mid towards nade rooms)

Rust [Ruins from GoW 2]

Gametypes: TS & CTF

The map was so good in Gears 2 that it underwent the least change for Halo reach. The starting spawns aren't as dead-endish, and a few other changes occured.

Power weapons:

-Grenade Launcher (Top Mid bridge)
-2 Snipers (Same location as GoW 2)
