War never changes...

Inspired by the Glowing Sea from Fallout 4, The Glow is a BTB map designed to create large team conflicts in a variety of locations with no shortage of interesting interactions and movement options. The map strays away from the traditional heavy handed pathing of Halo 5, as each area has ingress and egress options that create unique instances with each other. The map is also meant to call back to the days of large scale team-on-team engagements.

Bringing Fallout 4 into Halo

For those that have played Fallout 4 and that have been to The Glowing Sea, you know first hand that there aren't exactly clear and defined spaces like Blue Tower, or Red Sneaky. The primary challenge was developing an environment that emulated the desolation and eeriness of The Glowing Sea in a way that was fun to play and intuitive. On top of that, I did tons of work to create a playspace, around the playspace. I wanted players to believe they were wandering the seemingly endless wastes just like in Fallout. Finally I wanted play to be interesting and varied. I'm happy with the end result and I hope you'll enjoy it to!

Get Out and Explore

Not too much into the BTB scene? Like secrets and Easter Eggs? Well I couldn't make a Fallout inspired map without including those! There are several hidden items to track down and discover!
