Gametype: Link

Prior to the events of Ocarina of Time, Ganondorf cast a 'death curse' upon the Great Deku Tree in order to force him to relinquish the Kokiri's Emerald. Realizing that he could not survive the curse, the tree sends his assistant Navi, a blue fairy, to find Link. Link is finally allowed to reach the tree, who explains his plight. However, he neglects to mention that he was already doomed to die from the curse. After asking Link whether he was courageous enough to help, the tree opens his mouth and allows him to enter the dungeon, which would stand as a test of his bravery. (source:http://zelda.wikia.com)

This is my very first puzzle map I have ever made. I wanted to replicate and make the dungeon a workable puzzle map. This definitely took me a while to make, and yet this is only the part 1. IT IS VERY SHORT! Especially if you have played legend of zelda ocarina of time before haha. This map had so many scripts in it, I have to make a whole separate file for part 2. There are a couple of glitches with this map regarding the skulltulas. They tend to rotate a little off sometimes.

I suggest playing this while going through the puzzle-

Walkthrough"Walkthrough"
Kill the four Deku Babas (weird blue creatures) by slicing their stems. There is a hidden baba on the right hand side of the deku tree. This will open the Deku Tree's mouth so that you can go inside. Once inside go up to the first door where you will be teleported in. Kill the deku scrub by slicing the explosive on it's back (be sure to pick up overshield/life so you don't die from the explosion. P.S. Just crouch and sword him). Go to the next room after it unlocks and jump across to the big chest on the other side which reveals a magnum. Shoot the explosive barrel in the wall where the ladder is to loosen it from the spider webs. Climb the ladder and go back to the main room. Shoot the heads of the skulltulas on the vines so that you can climb up. Ignore the big skulltulas and go into the door to the left. This is the hardest and last room. The chest at the end of the room has ammo in case you run out. Be sure to pick up overshield because the small fire fx kill range sucks. Jump on the button to the right and crouch down so you can press the button. *The Button is timed* When you press the button platform will pop up. The Big Skulltula will also turn around showing the explosive on its back. Shoot the Big Skulltula so that you can go to the ledge to the left. Pick up the stick on the ground. Light the stick by going over to the torch near the button. Then light the torch that is out to the left of the room. The doors should unlock and you will be able to go back to the main room. The Big Skulltulas will now be turned around showing their backs. Shoot the Big Skulltulas and from that height you should be able to go through the bouncing webs on the ground.
