Roller Derby

Roller Derby is my latest creation. I have always been a fan of the Roller Derby sport and thought it would be sweet to try to create a game where players could try to knock each other off a giant oval! The zombies game variant worked out great for this concept. Basically only a few players spawn on the infected team. The Red team tries to survive for as long as possible, trying to earn points without being knocked out of the race! The game variant took me several versions to get the balancing correct. I like how the game turned out and will be fun for all.

Object of the game: The object is simple. If you are the black team you try to smash into the red team and send them flying over the edge. If you are the red team, you can also try to knock the black team over the edge. Kills are worth three points and if you fall over the edge by mistake, you will loose a point! The game is exciting and often comes down to some tense moments. The rounds are set to six minutes. You might want to try seven minutes if you have a really big party. Well, enjoy the map and post any comments you have. Thanks!
