Winterdome Riot is a medium sized 2v2 based map that takes up exactly half of Avalanche. A simple wall seperates one half of Avalanche from the other, and the middle cave area is not accessable. There are no defined bases, but during capture the flag opposite corners are the locations of the flags. These bases would be the area near the wall dividing the map, and the opposite corner on the opposite side of Avalanche. Because this is a 2v2 map in such a large area, I have designed Winterdome Riot so that getting from one side of the map to the other isn't a chore, but a simple task. Players will find that there is a teleporter embeded where the normal entrance to the cave area is. This teleporter will lead to the opposite corner of the map where the lifts are. There are also two red open double boxes that players will be able to jump up, and go inside just to be tossed up into another area of the map. This idea was taken from the green tubes in Super Mario for the NES or whatever it was that would lead you to those underground areas filled with coins. The third, and fourth sources of transportation on Winterdome Riot are the man cannons at each capture the flag base that will throw players towards the middle of the map. Now the final source of quick and less painful transportation are the eight mongooses spread out throughout Winterdome Riot.

Of course every 2v2 map is ussualy smaller than half of a big team battle map. Because I understand most of you are thinking about the math of this right now... Let's see, Avalanche is normaly either 8v8 or 4v4, now divide both 16 and 8 by 2 and you get 8 and 4. Now though 2v2 does equal 4, I'm focusing on the 8 part of this. That's right, Winterdome Riot also functions with multiple teams of 2-4 players, that means 4 teams with a total of 8-16 players. Or you can play with just two teams, which would once again be 8-16 players. It all depends on your party size, so if you've only got 4 people, you're good! If you've got 16 people, you're good!

Although I explained most of it in the Description section shown above, Winterdome Riot functions with parties ranging from 4-16 players. Winterdome Riot plays with 2v2 slayer matches, 4v4 capture the flag matches, free-for-all, 2v2v2v2 matches, 8v8 matches, whatever you want. There aren't any defined bases, but capture the flag is still an option, or slayer, whatever you want!
