OK, yesterday someone posted affliction, and i thought it was a really good map and loved the idea of three separate levels, however, i found a few flaws, for instance, there was a floating platform in the middle, i thought this was a good idea but it was so easy to get to and there was only a carbine on it (hardly worth the energy it would take to move your thumb to the a button, lol) so in v2 i made it a bit harder to get to and put a rocket launcher on it. to get to it now you have to crouch jump in the right place otherwise you'll fall to the bottom floor. also in v2 i removed the ramps going from the 2nd floor to the third floor, and replaced them with grav lifts so as to make it a bit more fun and also to add a bit of danger as if your not paying attention you could get catapulted of in some direction. while on the subject of platform three, there was a sniper on it, however, when i played this map i found i could get no real use out of it as the map is so small and confined. so i replaced it with a sword and managed to get alot more use out of it (i managed to completly drain the battery and get 1 or 2 kills with the stub before dying). ignore what the description says on bungie, i would recommend this map for a free for all, or if you want a even faster paced game, free for all swords. and remember that credit goes to matrixxJ for making the original. all i did was change a few bits to make it a bit better through my eyes. also, i found that there was a lack of weapons so i added a few more. here are some screen shots. =D

a general overview

a closer look at the 1st floor

a closer look at the 2nd floor

a closer look at the third floor

the bubble shield and sword put to effective use

grav lift in use

the now harder to reach and worthwhile platform

since the map is so confined, grenades work great

And if there's any way you can think of to improve this map, then please speak up and let me know.
